On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures price for 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,58,588 per 10 grams, recording a decline of ₹91. It is worth noting that on January 29, gold had reached its all-time high of ₹1,80,779 per 10 grams in the futures market. Consequently, gold is currently available at a significantly lower price than at its peak. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,58,117 per 10 grams by the time the market closed last week.
