Sinha said the creator economy has scope to move beyond manually managed influencer campaigns toward technology-led platforms, with Qoruz’s approach driving his investment. New UpdateShashi Sinha, former strategic adviser at Omnicom Media India, has invested in creator-tech company Qoruz, according to media reports. The investment comes about a month after Sinha announced his exit from Omnicom Media India. The size of the investment has not been disclosed. The investment was made through his family office. Sinha reportedly said he sees an opportunity in the evolving digital and creator ecosystem as the industry moves from influencer campaigns toward technology-led platforms. He said much of the influencer ecosystem is still managed manually and that Qoruz's platform-focused approach was a key factor behind his investment. Sinha views an investment as a long-term commitment and plans to guide the company and contribute to its growth. Qoruz co-founder and CEO Praanesh Bhuvaneswar noted that the company plans to use the capital to build and scale the creator side of its platform. Bhuvaneswar said influencers are increasingly operating like small businesses and that the industry needs to move beyond paid campaigns. He said Qoruz aims to help creators build sustainable, independent businesses. Sinha also added that he sees opportunities beyond influencer marketing, including commerce, where creators could earn a share of sales generated through their audiences. In the long term, influencers could drive sales and receive a share of the revenue generated, describing this as the "holy grail”, Sinha stated as cited in the report. For Qoruz, the investment is aimed at supporting the development of technology and infrastructure for the creator economy, while bringing greater structure and transparency to the sector.
